The Weibering-Wolfard world-class portfolio features two highly acclaimed Tournament Players Courses - sites of two PGA TOUR events - as well as many of the best private and public golf course being built today.  Using classic design principles, D.A. Weibring with his partner Steve Wolfard builds challenging course that focus on exceptional playability, and sound economics.  Golfers and owners around the world have praised Weibring-Wolfard courses for their challenging layouts and creative options.

"We wanted to create a constant, unified theme throughout the course.  People will be able to enjoy a new Wichita Falls C.C. with all the enjoyment from the past along with a new detailed, enhanced look," said D.A. Weibring.  "Dedicated teamwork of the design team, contractors, Head PGA Professional Brent Wattigny and his wife Vicki, Superintendent Nathan Neumann, and outstanding member commitment provided the right balance of budget as well as improved experience."

Mature trees were utilized to impart the feel of a venerable course, while at the same time, delivering a modern approach to the design by adding length and altering targets to adhere to all skill levels.  The irrigation system and landscaping were improved to add to overall course enrichment.  Square tee boxes, detailed bunkers, improved green contours chipping areas created a clean, traditional look.  Lakes were redesigned to create a signature look from the clubhouse on closing holes.

Head PGA Professional Brent Wattigny said, "D.A. and Steve came in and touched every tee, fairway, and green to create a consistent, traditional look throughout the course.  While having a deep appreciation of the history of WFCC, they were able to create a course where each hole now flows smoothly into the next."

Most recently, Weibring-Wolfard completed the redesign of the TPC Las Colinas course, the site of the PGA Tour's EDS Byron Nelson Championship.  In 2000, the company completed the design and development of the TPC at Deere Run golf course, site of the PGA Tours's Johns Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois.  Collectively, Weibring-Wolfard has worked on more than 100 golf course projects worldwide.  Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design is a division of Golf Resources, Inc.
